End of a great season

Last few events-

Allerton was a quiet event for us, with our own Hallo quality penny running well in the BE100 for 5th place, finishing on her dressage score of 28.5. She then went one better at Alnwick ford in September for 4th place on 29.5 dressage and one down show jumping.

Diana Beaumont’s Belle also ran well at Alnwick ford, coming a close 2nd. She tried really hard in the dressage for a great score of 23.5, 1 down show jumping and a confident clear x-country. I'm so pleased with how well she's improved throughout the season.

The eventers are all looking forward to a well deserved holiday, and the hunters are in ready to roll. We also have our two homebreds in at the moment for breaking which is an exciting task for the winter, and our little foal Hendrick is getting bigger every day.

Our last event of the season was a CCI 2* run at Osberton international. Snoopy did a smart test, lying fairly high on the leader board before x country day. After a great start round the x country track we sadly had a run out at a very narrow skinny leaving the water half way round the course. I got my line slightly wrong coming out of the water and snoops couldn’t quite make it to jump the right side of the flags.  He felt great the whole way round, and it was unfortunately totally down to rider error, very frustrating. However he finished the weekend feeling fabulous, jumping a lovely show jumping round and sailing through the trot up so I was happy to finish with a very happy horse.

BIG THANKYOU's!

A special thank you to all of my owners and sponsors who have supported me and my great team of horses throughout the year. Without them, this wouldn’t be possible. We have had a really successful season, with current horses and exciting new rides, and we’ve had so much fun campaigning Snoopy for the U21 British team.

Thank you again to my hard working trainers Charlotte Ridley, John Hill, Melissa Chapman and Will Murray, who have massively improved our dressage scores and show jumping technique throughout the season.

And of course a big thank you to my home team of Lucy, Jade, Kate, mum and dad for their entire hard work keeping horses fit, happy, sound and looking fabulous.

End of a great season
