Philip & Julie Nixon

Philip and Julie run the family farm and spend the summer supporting

daughter Pip at national events. They own Arctic Cruising & young horse

Simba, and both enjoy Shooting  and Hunting during the winter.

Philippa Nixon

Philippa has grown up with horses, hunting since the age of 5. She started eventing at the

age of 12 with her pony William, with whom she competed at Pony club eventing

championships. She completed her first CCI 1* at Weston Park, representing Northern

England on Dunloughan whirlwind in 2013. Top horse Arctic Cruising travelled to Camphire,

Ireland  for the CIC 1* in 2014, representing Northern England, jumping a double clear.

He then won the 2016 Pony club Open championships, and this year jumped clear at

Houghton CCI 2* Young Riders championships. Philippa runs the competition yard at Little

Whittington and has a great string of young horses

through to 4* eventers.
